What is ITF Taekwondo & why choose it?
ITF Taekwondo is the original form of Taekwondo, founded by General Choi Hong Hi and now led by Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa. It is distinguished from other styles by its emphasis on patterns (Tul), precision of technique, and a deep connection between physical training and personal discipline.
At Hwa Rang, we follow the full ITF syllabus. Students learn techniques in Korean, progress through a structured belt pathway, and develop physical and mental skills that go well beyond the dojang. It is not a recreational sport. It is a discipline and that is exactly what gives it its value for children growing up in Dubai.
